When Mahatma Gandhi was outcasted
When Mahatma Gandhi's caste people come to know Gandhi is going to England for study, They called a caste meeting, and the head of meeting 'Seth' order Gandhi not to leave the country as it was not allowed back then. But Gandhi was adamant to go so he refuses to obey the command. At last of argument with Gandhi 'Seth' said: "If you leave the country and went to England, you will outcaste and any of the people who try to help him in his way to England he/she will going to punished with a fine of 1-2 rupees".
Gandhi was adamant to go to England so he leaves for Bombay with his brother. In Bombay, his brother leaves Gandhi at one of his friend home and persuaded him to help Gandhi if any. Gandhi's brother-in-law refuses to help Gandhi due to fear of outcaste.
Gandhi borrowed some money from one of his friends, that friend not only gives money but also praise Gandhi for his decision. Then Gandhi reserved a seat in the same cabin in which SJT.T. Mazmudar and Junagadh vakil. The ticket was on 4 September.
