Mahatma Gandhi's Child marriage
In this part, Gandhi described his child marriage. When Gandhi grows old or you can say adult he didn't like his child marriage. Gandhi was against lavish wedding parties and all that, he said some bitter but true words about lavish weddings especially Hindu, waste of money and time like months of preparation, pollution, and singing of women in a hoarse voice, etc.
He doesn't want to openly talk about his marriage. Gandhi was betrothed thrice. Gandhi his elder brother and a cousin were around the same age thus his father and Gandhi's uncle decided to marriage three of them on the same day and place. Three marriages together had become the best way to save money.
For marriage, they went to Rajkot from Porbandar. At that age Gandhi doesn't know about marriage he was happy with all the sweets, rich foods, marriage procession, drums, etc. In way of Rajkot his father got injured but in marriage excitement, but Gandhi didn't pay much attention to his father's injury. Later he feels Grief for his father. Later he tells how marriage got completed. He told about his first night how he was coached by his elder brother's wife(Bhabhi).
