Mahatma Gandhi Stealing and Atonement

As Gandhi indulge in having meat, smoking and lot more bad activity. Gandhi uncle had habit of smoking cigarette , Gandhi and his brother found it attractive. But the don't have money to buy so they steal money from servant pocket and buy Indian cigarette. When they don't have money they pilfering stumps of cigarette thrown away his uncle. They never course smoke in presence of elders. One day they thought to commit suicide by having Dhatura(thornapples or jimsonweeds) seeds on an auspicious hour, But there courage failed them. But still they have tow-three seeds, They fall in sleep for long hours. By that day they quit smoking. The habit of stealing make Gandhi to steal gold armlet of his brother, that action make 25 rupees debt on his brother.

After all this Gandhi felt guilty so he think to tell all his bad deeds to his father directly but he failed. So he wrote a letter to his father and handed him not only he ask his father to forgive and also a proper punishment. When his father read that letter his father just cried and some drops of tear went down on letter and he does nothing to Gandhi not a single slap or said nothing. That moment was pictured in mind of Gandhi so deep. Today Gandhi feel that it was true Ahimsa.
